The Bulldog Varsity season ended Saturday losing in the Sectional championship game to the Greensburg Pirates. The Bulldogs defeated the Rushville Lions in the morning to get to the championship game. Scores against Rushville were 25-12, 25-15, and 25-8.
The evening match against the Pirates was exciting. Scores were 25-22, 19-25, 20-25, and 20-25. Top performers were Sophie Gesell and Aly Peters with 5 blocks each. Cayman Werner led the way at the net with 18 kills. Ava Powner led the team in serving with 18/18. We ended the season with a 20-11 record and 2nd in the EIAC conference. Way to go Lady Bulldogs.
