Summer workouts and practices kicked-off last week, and we are almost two months away from Week 1 of the season! Also, for those who live in the Indianapolis area, we will be scrimmaging at Zionsiville HS on Monday, June 26th at 6 pm as well at Beech Grove HS on Monday, July 11th at 6 pm. For those in the Muncie area, we will be playing at Delta HS on Thursday, July 13th at 6 pm. All the scrimmages are free and you are welcome to come watch the Bulldogs in action!
Alumni Football Dinner
The dinner will be at the Knights of Columbus in Batesville. The event will begin at 6 pm with a Happy Hour with drinks then dinner will follow at 7 pm.
Izzy’s Catering will be catering the event. The meal will include a tri-tips carving station, baked potatoe, vegetable, salad, and rolls.
*There will also be beer provided and a cash bar.
**The event is only for anyone 21 years of age or older.

2nd Alumni Football Game
The alumni football game will be part of the second Baatesville Football Kick-Off. The alumni game will cap off the day of football under the lights with a 7 pm kick-off. The itinerary of the event is listed below.
9 am – Football Lift-a-Thon Fundraiser.
*money raised will help fund additional training equipment and practice equipment .
11 am – 2pm = Batesville Youth League Scrimmages.
5 pm = High School Scrimmage.
7 pm = Alumni Football Game.
Fundraising
The alumni dinner and lift-a-thon are two events designed to raise money for the Batesville football program. The program is striving to raise $20,000 to fund a variety of items that are listed below.
Hi-Pod Endzone Camera Stand = $5000
The end zone camera stand would allow us to film games and practices from the end zone view, which is a far better angle in teaching our players. The ability to film at this angle will enhance our player development.
Hudl Sideline = $900
This will allow on the field replay to IPADs that would be used during a game. This technology would enhance communication with players and coaching. The technology is used by many of our competitors and conference members with great reviews. https://www.hudl.com/products/sideline
2 Shadowman Tackling Dummy’s = $2000
The Shawdowman help eliminate a lot of unnecessary contact during a practice to help preserve the body of our players as well as cut down on concussions. The shadowman are also more game-like in tackling drills. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFqyUkhHhWE&authuser=0
5 man sled = $6000
Training Equipment = $1000-$2000
Ropes, Prowlers, Sleds, and Harnesses.
Practice Equipment = $2000.
Half Rounds, Hand Shields, Pop Up Dummy’s, Lineman Chute.
Weight Room Football Record Board = $1000.
Football Stat Record Board = $1500.
