The Batesville 10U Travel Baseball team has been busy on the baseball diamond the past couple of weekends with great success.
The team participated in the Summer Frenzy tournament in Seymour where they won the first game of the day by a score of 10-9 followed by another victory by the score of 12-8 to advance to the championship game. The championship game capped off a long successful day of baseball, taking home runner-up, with some nice rings.
This past weekend the team traveled to North Vernon for the Sandlot Showdown tournament. Batesville started the day strong with a 15-6 win followed by another win of 10-6 to advance to the championship game. The day ended with a victory by a score of 14-6 and taking home some more rings.
The team had a great turnout and support by parents, family, and friends! Congratulations to all the players and coaches.
The team will be wrapping up the baseball season with a trip to Elizabethtown, KY and another tournament in North Vernon.
