(Indianapolis, IN) – Several Southeastern Career Center students were among the top finishers at last week’s SkillsUSA Indiana Leadership and Skills Conference in Indianapolis.
Henry Strotman from East Central HS won first place in Electrical Construction Wiring; Batesville HS’s John Meyer took second place in Heavy Equipment, and Brayden Tice from South Dearborn was first in Building Maintenance.
The purpose of the competition in each category was to evaluate contestant’s preparation for employment, as well as recognize outstanding students for professionalism and excellence in their respective fields.
The conference was held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
