U.S. 421 in Greensburg Set to Reopen

(Greensburg, IN) – U.S. 421 between Vine and Wilder streets in Greensburg is expected to reopen Thursday following a sewer line replacement that has had drivers scrambling to get around the work zone in recent weeks.

Until the road reopens, the City of Greensburg is reminding motorists to use alternate routes to avoid the area.

Wilder to Main Street/State Road 46 is being used as a detour, with additional signs placed by the project contractor.

(Greensburg, IN) – U.S. 421 between Vine and Wilder streets is closed for a sewer line replacement by the City of Greensburg.

The road is scheduled to reopen by April 23.

Local traffic is being diverted to Main Street/State Road 46 to Wilder Street for access to U.S. 421. Truck traffic is being directed to use Main Street/State Road 46 to Batesville.

Greensburg Police are urging you to avoid stopping on the railroad tracks, and to use alternate routes when possible.
