Hope, IN — The town of Hope is celebrating its annual “Clean Up” day this Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm. The theme for this year’s event is “Hope Rising,” promoting the opportunity for the community to come together to help Hope “Rise Up.”
Local churches will have teams available to assist any volunteers who show up to assist with the cleanup day. If you have a truck that can help haul away items, you are encouraged to bring it and meet on the square. The town will also be accepting donations for the Hope Food Pantry. Trash can be taken to the Hope Utilities Building during the event.
Several other towns have fall cleaning fever. Batesville Kiwanis and the Mayors Youth Council will hold a community cleanup day on Saturday, September 26th. The Decatur County YMCA held their community “Togetherhood” cleanup event last weekend at the Charles Buell Walking Trails.
