The SDMS AquaTrojans brought home the hardware on Saturday with both teams winning the Connersville Middle School Swimming and Diving Invitational. The scores were as follows.
Girls: Sunman-Dearborn 348; South Dearborn 273; Centerville 206
Connersville 198; Richmond 126; Greendale 0.
Boys: Sunman-Dearborn 272; Connersville 270; Richmond 216; South Dearborn 94; Greendale 37.
Invitational Champions include: Boys 200 Medley Relay (Jacob Nixon, Nick Weber, Ray Krider, Leo Maxwell); Boys 200 Freestyle Jacob Nixon; Girls 50 Freestyle Alexis Brennen; Boys 50 Freestyle Leo Maxwell; Girls 100 Freestyle Jayme Pennington; Boys 100 Freestyle Jacob Weber; Boys 500 Freestyle Ray Krider; Girls 200 Freestyle Relay (Alexis Brennen, Abi Cowden, Julia Bulach, Jayme Pennington); Boys 100 Backstroke Nick Weber; Girls 100 Breaststroke Emily Hafertepen; Boys 400 Freestyle Relay (Tyler Ketcham, Jacob Nixon, Leo Maxwell, Ray Krider).
The SDMS girls finished 12-1 and the SDMS boys finished 13-0. SDMS boys have defeated 54 straight opponents over the last 6 seasons.
