Antique car crash in Franklin County crash injures four

Franklin County, In. — A Sunday crash caused by failure to yield injured four people in Franklin County.

A report from the sheriff’s department says Ricky Williams, 59, of Shelbyville, was driving a 1950 Mercury westbound on State Road 244 at the intersection of Buena Vista Road. Williams failed to yield the right-of-way and struck a car driven by Peter Connolly, 79, of Laurel.

Williams was driven by private vehicle to Rush Memorial Hospital. Connolly and his passengers, Thomas Williams, 83, and Debra Williams, 63, were flown to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment. Their condition is not known.
