Amanda W. Reed, 44, of Aurora, passed away on June 12, 2024.
She was born on July 12, 1979 to Jerry and Monica Simmons in Cincinnati, OH.
Amanda was not only a waitress at the Diner, she was the face of Aurora Diner since there opening 4 years ago.
Amanda loved watching Dateline and True Crime shows. She enjoyed gardening, and loved trying out new recipes. She enjoyed listening to her favorite song, Midnight Train to Georgia.
Amanda is survived by her loving daughters, Kaitlyn Reed and Samantha Reed of Rising Sun, IN; adopted mother Jean Tanksley; sisters Rachel Golden and Alisa Vrable; partner, Mark Pierce; Tim Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Ryan Chapman and Jason Wilson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday June 18, 2024 from 6-8pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St. Aurora, IN 47001.
