(Southeastern IN) – The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has issued an Air Quality Action Day today for Southeastern Indiana.
The agency says ozone levels are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range.
Higher temperatures with light and variable winds combined with sunny skies and low humidity may lead to increased ozone levels.
IDEM Air Quality Action Days indicate anticipated higher levels of ground-level ozone and fine particulate matter only.
Other factors may affect overall air quality.
