Madison,IN—Madison Correctional Facility is currently seeking permanent homes for dozens of animals following a seizure of an estimated 100+ animals in Jefferson County last week.
A.D.O.P.T. (A Dog On Prison Turf ) located on grounds at Madison Correctional, is a no-kill shelter where offenders, bathe, groom, train, and teach tricks to animals in need of permanent, loving homes. Following the seizure of dozens of animals, A.D.O.P.T. was contacted to assist in the assessment and re-homing of several of the animals.
Currently available are several Chihuahua mixes and a variety of mixed large breed dogs as well.
