The Batesville Freshman Boys Basketball team bounced back from a loss on Monday by defeating the visiting Milan Indians Thursday night 37-29.
After being down 9-3 entering the 2nd quarter, The Dogs had a strong final 3 quarters and came out on top 37-29. Outrebounding the Indians in the second half was key to the Batesville win.
Jayden Beal lead all scorers with 17 points and was 8 of 10 from the free throw line. Sam Wade provided a nice spark off the bench for the dogs who improve to 2-5 on the season.
