VERSAILLES, Ind. – Ripley County EMS has three employees that are graduating from the University of Cincinnati Paramedic Education Program.
UC is one of the top paramedic schools in the nation, Ripley County EMS Chief Jim Corbin said.
“Their commitment to excellence, academics and skills for paramedic students is absolutely wonderful,” Corbin said. “These graduates we have will be coming to serve the citizens and will be hitting the street really soon.”
Elliott Bergman, Lisa Jennings and Jarred Meinders have completed the UC program. Bergman received the Daniel L. Storer M.D. Academic Achievement Award, for a number one rank in the class.
Meinders received the Paramedic Education Excellent Student Achievement Award for his excellence in paramedic studies.
The graduates will enter a field training program before being released on their own.
