BATESVILLE, IN — Batesville city government will hold two special meetings this month.
A special public meeting of the Batesville Board of Works will be held next Monday, August 16 at 6:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to accept bids for projects that will be paid for with funds from the 2021 Community Crossing Grant Program.
The city received $1 million from INDOT’s matching grant program earlier this year to repair local roads. Plans for the local funds include repairs to five city streets as well as stormwater work.
Meantime, a public meeting for the 2022 Non-Utility Budget will be held on August 31 at 6:00 pm. City Council is expected to receive the 2022 budget numbers in September, with a vote on the spending plan expected in October.
Both meetings will take place in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Batesville Memorial Building.
