Bulldogs Track Results @ Franklin Invitational

Both the Boys and the Girls Batesville High School track teams competed in their first big invitational of the season last night at Franklin Community High School in the Bill Self Invitational. In the beginning, the sun was shining and the temperature wasn’t too bad, but as the sun went down the temperatures kept dropping.

However, the Bulldogs fought through these conditions and came away with both teams getting runner up in the 7-team invitational, getting beat by only Franklin Community. For the boys, it came down to the last event, the 4 x 400m relay.  The Bulldogs were sitting in 3rd place at the time and we needed to win the event to jump into 2nd place.  The boys did not disappoint, winning the event moving our team score just a half a point ahead of Perry Meridian.
