Brookville, IN — The Franklin County Commissioners, will hear an amendment on Tuesday morning to the zoning ordinance to allow the conditional use of commercial and intermediate alternative energy systems as purposed by the Franklin County Area Plan Commission.
The meeting will begin at 10 am in the Commissioners meeting room at the Franklin County Government Center on Franklin Avenue.
In October both the Franklin County Area Plan Commission and the Commissioners held a joint meeting to hear information on the idea of solar and wind energy in the county. At the last APC meeting, held on November 18, the APC drafted plans based on residential, commercial, and intermediate uses to propose to the commissioners.
