Rushville, In. — A suspected fight resulted in a shooting inside a Rushville convenience store over the weekend.
Reports indicate a patron entered the Country Mark Store on 3rd Street Saturday around 9 p.m. and began to fight with another customer. That customer produced a firearm and shot the subject in the abdomen.
The subject was transported to Rush Memorial Hospital and later to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. His condition is not available. No charges have been filed. Alcohol is considered to be a factor.
