Indianapolis, In. — The 65 students that make up the Decatur County Marching Band managed a top 15 finish at Indiana State Fair Band Day.
The band performed their “Paradise Lost” routine that is a combination of Milton’s Paradise Lost and Dante’s Inferno. Judges awarded the band a score of 74.70 to earn the 14th spot in the statewide competition.
Nobelsville won the competition with a score of 93.35.
