Batesville, In. — Meteorologists from the National Weather Service say a mid-level low is parked just east of Cincinnati and could pump up to another two inches of snow into south-east Indiana Wednesday.
As of 4 a.m. in Batesville at least three inches had accumulated and a very fine snowfall was recorded.
Indiana State Police, sheriff’s departments all area counties are reporting slick and hazardous conditions. Police are working several slide-offs on state and local roadways. At the intersection of I-74 and State Road 3 Indiana State Police say a critical blockage is being caused by a jack-knifed semi-truck.
