Greensburg, Ind. — A Greensburg woman faces multiple felony charges following an investigation by police last week.
The Greensburg Police Department says the investigation started at a residence on North Patriot Drive on a report of a suspect attempting to enter a residence. The subject, later identified as Teresa McConnell, 30, was trying keys to see if they fit in the door. During the investigation, police determined she did not have permission to use the vehicle she was driving.
While questioning the suspect, police say they received a report from a local business that a woman matching her description was seen going through vehicles in the parking lot. The employee of the business also told police the woman offered to perform a sex act for money and made threats to the staff before fleeing the area.
McConnell was apprehended by Decatur County Sheriff’s deputies while allegedly driving a stolen lawn mower on Lincoln Street.
McConnell has been charged with attempted robbery, intimidation, prostitution, conversion, attempted auto theft, attempted residential entry and auto theft.
