RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. — The Ripley County Community Foundation has awarded a $3395 grant to the Ripley County Emergency Management Agency for the purpose of programming local Law Enforcement radios.
The grant will fund 800 MHz radio programming by removing the old programming and resetting the radio’s home button.
The funding of this project will contribute to Law Enforcement Officer safety.
This project will fund the programming for the following County Law Enforcement Agencies:
- Ripley County Sheriff’s Office (Sheriff Jeff Cumberworth)
- Ripley County Court Services/Probation (Director Shannon Schmaltz)
- Batesville Police Department (Batesville Police Chief Stan Holt)
- Osgood Police Department (Osgood Town Marshal Eric Roush)
- Milan Police Department (Milan Police Phillip “Terry” Wilson)
- Holton Police Department (Holton Town Marshal Josh Royalty)
- Versailles Town Marshall Joe Mann, is not in the picture since he was responding to a call.
