79 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend locally

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 5,356 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 134,981 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,486,182 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.9% positivity rate and 47 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,562 Hoosier deaths across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 781 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 48 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 477 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 7 new cases), Franklin County has 327 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 3 new cases), and Ripley County has 359 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 21 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 79 new positive cases.
