The 5th Grade Cardinals earned their first victory of the season Wednesday night in a thrilling 15-11 battle against North Vernon. In a game where neither team led by more than four points, the Cardinals held strong to come out on top.
Offensively, the Cardinals saw contributions from multiple players. Halle Meyer led all scorers with 6 points, while Edie Walke and Cora Gribben each added 4. Eleanor Spielmann chipped in a free throw to round out the scoring.
