Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 3,978 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 468,219 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,533,672 individual tests have been reported to ISDH for an 18.5% positive rate and 31 new deaths were reported for a total of 7,101 Hoosiers deaths across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,435 cases and 39 deaths reported (up 21 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,941 positive cases and 62 deaths (up 10 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,082 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 7 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,237 positive cases and 37 deaths (up 11 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 49 new positive cases and 1 new death.
