Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 2,951 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 188,066 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,733,575 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 10.8% positive rate and 50 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,199 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,187 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 13 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 643 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 12 new cases), Franklin County has 417 positive cases and 26 deaths (up 5 new cases), and Ripley County has 588 positive cases and 9 deaths (up 14 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 44 new positive cases and 1 new death.
