Lakeside Refrigerated Services, a Swedesboro, N.J. establishment, is recalling approximately 42,922 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The raw ground beef items were produced on June 1, 2020 and are labeled from either Marketside butcher organic grass-fed beef in patties and ground beef or Thomas Farms grass-fed ground beef or patties.
The problem was discovered during routine FSIS testing. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
