Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 17,154 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 563,653 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,752,524 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.5% positive rate and 161 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,613 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,301 cases and 41 deaths reported (up 190 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,317 positive cases and 80 deaths (up 60 new cases and 2 new deaths), Franklin County has 1,359 positive cases and 30 deaths (up 41 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,799 positive cases and 44 deaths (up 119 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 410 new positive cases and 3 new deaths.
