4-H King and Queen crowned at Ripley County Fair

(Osgood, IN) – Opening ceremonies for the 2023 Ripley County 4-H Fair took place Sunday evening at Fairgrounds Park in Osgood.

The highlight of opening night was the crowning of the 4-H King and Queen.

Onika Struewing will serve as this year’s 4-H Queen.

Struewing is a 10-year 4-H member and belongs to the Busy Bees, which meets in Batesville.

The 4-H King is Lloyd Darringer, whose brother Lewis won the title last year.

Lloyd Darringer has been in 4-H for eight years and belongs to the Sunman-based Faithful Workers.

The Ripley County 4-H Fair runs through Saturday.
