OAKLAND CITY, Ind. — State police chased an Indianapolis man for 32-miles in southern Indiana.
It was the day after Christmas when troopers say they were patrolling along northbound I-69 when they tried stopping a man driving a Penske truck for violating the state’s left lane law. After nearly hitting a coal truck, troopers began chasing the man, who was able to avoid stop sticks near Oakland City, but they were successful a second time by the time they reached Pike County. The truck came to a stop and Brice Alkema was pulled out and arrested. Troopers found meth and other drugs in the truck.
