Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,050 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 430,401 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,435,885 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 17.7% positive rate and 35 new deaths were reported for a total of 6,530 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,135 cases and 37 deaths reported (up 43 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,792 positive cases and 51 deaths (up 7 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 983 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 7 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,057 positive cases and 32 deaths (up 27 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 84 new positive cases and 1 new death.
