Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,218 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 256,774 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,952,202 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 13.2% positive rate and 26 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,686 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,717 cases and 29 deaths reported (up 40 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,056 positive cases and 41 deaths (up 21 new cases), Franklin County has 547 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 15 new cases), and Ripley County has 993 positive cases and 12 deaths (up 33 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 109 new positive cases.
