BATESVILLE, Ind. – The bridge on S.R. 229 at Hillcrest Country Club in Batesville reopened to traffic Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m.
The closure forced drivers to take a different route to and from downtown since the project officially got underway September 29.
Project officials ask travelers to continue taking detours while construction along S.R. 229 will continue for the next few weeks.
Flaggers will be present during the work week.
