226 cases over the weekend locally

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 8,870 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 333,312 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,188,928 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 15.2% positive rate and 90 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,418 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 2,382 cases and 31 deaths reported (up 100 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,371 positive cases and 44 deaths (up 46 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 757 positive cases and 27 deaths (up 23 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,515 positive cases and 21 deaths (up 57 new cases and 6 new deaths). Locally, this is an increase of 226 new positive cases and 7 new deaths.
