Batesville, In. — The 59th annual Farm-City Banquet sponsored by the Batesville Kiwanis, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Batesville chapter of the FFA provides an example of how strong the ties are between the family farm and the table. This year, the event generated $769 in profit for the Kiwanis and the members of the Batesville FFA to share.
The Batesville Kiwanis will direct that money to community causes and FFA members will use the funds for club-related projects and activities.
The committee members for the event were Paul Ketcham, Andy Allen, Dennis Harmeyer, Anna bold, Harold Weiler, Cassie Walpe and Ed Krause.
