Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 7,344 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 546,499 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,710,638 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.2% positive rate and 81 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,452 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,111 cases and 41 deaths reported (up 45 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,257 positive cases and 78 deaths (up 39 new cases), Franklin County has 1,318 positive cases and 30 deaths (up 18 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,680 positive cases and 43 deaths (up 45 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 147 new positive cases and 1 new death.
