Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,457 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 392,663 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,338,308 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 16.8% positive rate and 124 new deaths were reported for a total of 6,109 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,817 cases and 37 deaths reported (up 47 new cases and 4 new deaths), Decatur County has a total of 1,614 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 10 new cases), Franklin County has 888 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 17 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,872 positive cases and 27 deaths (up 27 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 101 new positive cases and 4 new deaths.
