Decatur County, In. — Two accidents injured 13 people on I-74 over the weekend.
Unconfirmed reports indicate a vehicle driven by Anastasie Madjimgom, 32, of Indianapolis, was traveling eastbound when she lost control for an unknown reason Sunday afternoon.
The vehicle crossed into the median and struck a guardrail, ejecting two children. Four other children including another adult, Yvonne Dakata, 44, of Indianapolis, were flown to hospitals with unspecified injuries.
In the traffic congestion created by the accident, a truck driven by Jerry Raab, 59, of Stockton, Illinois, failed to stop and struck another car driven by Larry Louden, 80. Louden and his passenger, Betty Louden, 72, both of Greensburg, and the truck driver complained of back pain.
