Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 728 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 113,337 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,322,819 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.6% positivity rate and 10 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,305 Hoosier deaths from the virus.
Dearborn County has a total of 639 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 7 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 457 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 3 new cases), Franklin County has 303 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 1 new case), and Ripley County has 282 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 1 new case). Locally, this is an increase of 12 new positive cases.
