Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 966 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 675,388 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,199,074 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.1% positive rate and 13 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,495 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,543 cases and 72 deaths reported (up 3 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,733 positive cases and 92 deaths (up 1 new case), Franklin County has 1,614 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 3 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,293 positive cases and 66 deaths (up 3 new cases and 1 new death). This is an increase of 10 new cases and 1 new death locally.
