Salvation Army Accepting Volunteers For Holiday Season

November 12, 2013

The Salvation Army Service Extension of Ripley County is preparing for its Red Kettle campaign.

The seasonal program raises money to assist local families through donations.

As part of the Red Kettle campaign, friendly volunteers will greet shoppers during the holiday season at two local stores.

Kroger in Batesville and CashSaver Market in Versailles are participating in the fundraising effort.

If you’re interested in volunteering for a few hours as an individual, family, agency or community service, contact Sandy at (812) 689-4323.

Red Kettle donations help families with food needs, utilities, emergency lodging, rent and other critical needs.
