NEW TRENTON, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to begin work on Monday at a slide site near the Franklin-Dearborn County line.
INDOT’s contractor will stabilize the embankment slide which has kept the highway closed since early March.
Crews will also replace the washed-out culvert pipe which caused the slide.
Weather permitting, INDOT plans to re-open the highway in early May.
