Wilma J. Meyer, of Brookville, was born on December 19, 1932 in Franklin County, the daughter of Kenneth and Ada Templeton Beesley. She graduated from Brookville High School in 1951 and later married Howard Meyer on November 22, 1952 at St. Michael Church. Wilma was a bank teller at FCN for 40 years and was also an assistant trust officer. She attended Old Franklin United Methodist church, enjoyed traveling, her cats, horses, and going to the river boats. On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the age of 85, Wilma passed away at Shawneespring of Harrison after a brief illness.
Those surviving who will cherish Wilma’s memory include her daughter, Connie (Jerry) Arlinghaus of Fort Mitchell, KY, and son, Gregory (Cindy) Meyer of Batesville; grandchildren, Andrea (Adam) Holliday of St. Louis, MO, Maria (Joe) Robertson of Ft. Mitchell, KY, Christopher (Mindy) Meyer of Phoenix, AZ and Garrett Meyer of Phoenix, AZ; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, Ada, and Ella Holliday and Emery, Anna, and Max Robertson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on December 10, 1994.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. Burial will follow in Old Franklin Church Cemetery.
