Wildcats Harriers Participate At Richmond Invite

The Franklin County Lady Wildcats were not able to compete as a team, but were able to compete individually. Junior, Taylor Stewart, was the top finisher for Franklin County, placing 19th. Freshman Katherine Apsley is making gains as she improves her time by 17 seconds. Stewart, Apsley, and sophomore, Josie Selm were all able to drop their times from the Union County Invitational, despite the difficult course and warmer temperatures.

Sophomore, Drew Grant, and Junior, Kyle Seibert, continue to lead the Franklin County Boys cross country team at the second meet of the season. Drew’s time of 19:41 was about 30 seconds from a top twenty spot. Junior, Tanner Lainhart, claimed Franklin County’s 3rd spot on the team, with a time of 21:19. The team did well on the unfamiliar course. The boys are ready to focus on the Rushville Invitational next Saturday, which is a course they know well.
