Franklin County High School Girls Varsity Cross Country finishes 1st place at Union County.
The Girls Wildcat Cross Country team achieved their first invitational win for Franklin County High School. Junior, Lauren Kelley, was the top finisher for Franklin County. She finished 4th with a time of 21:05, just 8 seconds off of her season PR. Senior, Katelyn Meyer, ran a strong race with a strategic finish, placing 6th with a time of 23:04. Sophomore, Katherine Apsley, finished in 12th place with a time of 25:40. Newcomer to cross country, Sophomore, Emma Cabezuelo, and junior, Josie Selm, finished with almost identical times. Emma had a time of 26:09.6 and Josie finished in 26.09.7, placing 15th and 16th. The girls had some exciting finishes and prevailed to bring home the win.

Franklin County High School Boys Varsity Cross Country finishes 2nd place at Union County.
The Wildcat Boys Cross Country team finished 2nd place at Union County with a score of 68. The Wildcat boys are so close in their times, it is impossible to predict who will finish ahead of who. Junior, Drew Grant, was the top finisher for Franklin County, finishing in 7th place with a time of 18:51. Sophomore, Ben Maze, was next, finishing in 9th place with a time of 19:14. The team member who made the biggest move was Senior, Kyle Seibert. He was the 3rd Wildcat finisher, placing 18th with a time of 20:02. Freshman, Harmon Marshall, almost caught Hunter Marshall. They finished in 21st and 22nd place with times of 20:23 and 20:24. Senior, Harvey Marshall, and sophomore, Adam Grant, also placed in the top 30 in the invitational. It was a great race for Franklin County!
