Franklin County began the season on Thursday night with a 9-6 road conference win at East Central.
Alex Bischoff pitched 5 strong innings before giving way to Matthew Billman who earned the win on the mound in the final 3 innings. Bischoff also led the way at the plate, going 3-3. Dalton Durbin and Landon Bundy also had 2 hits on the day.
FC will host East Central on Friday night in a rescheduled game from Monday.
