Franklin County Boys Track team defeated Richmond 102-30. The Lady Wildcats won 97-35
FC Boys Winners of the night were Brady Bogan, Hunter Tschaenn, Drew Grant, Adam Grant, Cam Smith, Jacob Schatzle, Jacob Tharp, Cole Rapp, Cole Klusman, Denver Meier, and Harvey Marshall.
FC Girls Winners of the night were Helena Goutsis, Lauren Kelley, Taylor Stewart, Bailey Parkhurst, Anna Schatzle, Ashlan Hill, Jenna Bruns, Claudia Mauntel, Jenna Orschell, Katelyn Brunemann, and Audrey Reister.
The Boys and Girls won a Tri Meet against Centerville and Union County.
Boys-FC 68, Centerville 63, Union County 24. Girls-FC 86, Centerville 43, Union County 29.
Winners for the boys on Thursday were Hunter Tschaenn who won the 100m (11.35) and 200m dash. Cam Smith won the Shot Put with a throw of 41 feet 4 inches. The 4x400m team of Tschaenn, Brady Bogan, Harvey Marshall, and Drew Grant also won with a time of 4 minutes and 40 seconds.
The Speedsters were at Centerville where they competed against the Union County Patriots and the Centerville Bulldogs. Both the boys and girls teams won the meet. The final boy’s scores were Franklin County-68, Centerville- 62, and Union County-24. The final girl’s scores were Franklin County-86, Centerville-43, and Union County-29.
Katelyn Meyer won 1st in the 100m (13.03s) and 200m Dash (27.26s). Lauren Kelley was the champion in the 1600m (5:50) and the 3200m (12:30). Ashlan Hill won the Long Jump (16 feet 4 inches) and the 400m dash (63s). Jenna Bruns picks up her first win in the high jump with a jump of 4 feet 10 inches. Grace Kruthaupt wins the 300m Hurdles with a time of 53.16 seconds. Bailey Parkhurst wins the shot put with a throw of 31 feet 6 inches. Jenna Orschell wins the 800m with a time of 2 minutes 42 seconds. All 3 relay teams won; 4x100m (Schatzle, Kruthaupt, Reister and Mauntel), 4x400m (Hill, Orschell, Kruthaupt and Meyer), and the 4x800m (Kelley, Taylor Stewart, Katelyn Brunemann, Orschell).
The girl’s team (3-0) and the boy’s team (2-1) will look to pick up some more wins as they take on Richmond on Tuesday, April 16th, and they will compete at the South Dearborn Invite on Thursday, April 18th.
