(Brookville, IN) – Richard Whitaker has been chosen by Republican precinct committee members to fill the Ward 4 vacancy on Brookville Town Council.
Whitaker is finishing Earl Moore’s unexpired term, which ends on December 31, 2026.
Moore resigned from council after moving out of town.
Just two of the five Brookville Town Council members – Curtis Ward and Bridget Hayes – were elected.
Whitaker, John Estridge and Dan Rottinghaus were appointed to council by Republican caucuses after their predecessors resigned.
