Alvin Werner, 61, of St. Leon, IN passed Thursday January 18, 2018. He leaves his beloved wife, Darlene, children: Wayne of Bright, Chad (Kristina) of Elletsville, IN, Renee (Zach) Eppert of Greenfield, IN, Clint (Jennifer) of Bright, Blain (Amanda) of Bright. He also leaves his grandchildren: Makalynn Roofe, Lindsay Roofe, Olivia and Lucas Eppert, Gage, Owen and Kaitlyn Werner, Brayden and Alyssa Werner.
His parents: Alvin O. and Annie (Zink) Werner of St. Leon. His siblings: Anthony (Ty) of St. Leon, Art of St. Leon, Eric (Brenda) of Sunman, Anita (Charlie) Smith of Grandledge, MI, and Jerry of Lawrenceburg.
Preceded in death by Andrew Werner who passed in 2001.
Alvin was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a shooting and sports enthusiast and loved watching Notre Dame football. He loved ocean vacations.
Visitation is Monday from 10:00-1:00 at St. John Church in Dover, IN followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Rosary is at 10:00.
