FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — This year, Indiana celebrates its 200th anniversary as the 19th state in the nation.
To celebrate, multiple projects throughout the state are in the works – including the Bicentennial Barns project endorsed by the Bicentennial Commission.
Ten barns were selected as winners from more than 200 barns.
And one barn in the area made the list.
In Franklin County, the Wendel barn, owned by David Wendel placed 3rd on the top ten list.
