(Richmond, IN) – Batesville wrestlers Carson Weiler and Adam Brewer captured regional championships at Saturday’s meet at Richmond.

The double championship makes the first time in 26 years the Bulldog wrestling program has produced two regional titleholders in the same season.

Weiler won the 120 pound weight class while Brewer reached the top of the podium at 144.

They both entered the tournament as top seeds after winning sectional titles last weekend.
Weiler and Brewer now set their sights on continuing their momentum next weekend at the New Castle semi-state.

With their victories, Brewer improves to 44-1 on the season; Weiler stands at 43-3.
